In Loving Memory

Stephen Biondo

January 8, 1969 – April 5, 2019
Minneapolis, Minnesota

Steve Biondo was one of a kind! He loved music, sharing a great meal with family and friends, and roller coasters. He loved traveling, reading great books, and enjoyed a pint of Guinness. Steve had a sensitive heart, and always spoke up for the downtrodden.

And I know I will be loosened
From the bonds that hold me fast
And the chains all around me
Will fall away at last

-The Waterboys, “Fisherman’s Blues”

Steve spent the majority of his career as a para-professional in Minneapolis Public Schools working with special-education students. He made friends easily, had a wonderful laugh, collected rocks, and enjoyed nature and a good thunder storm.

Steve’s greatest gift, and the love of his life, was his son, Connor. Among many things, they loved to watch movies, build Lego creations and eat Indian food together.

One of the greatest qualities that Steve possessed was his generosity. He’d never hesitate to give his last few dollars, or the shirt off his back, to someone in need. Steve’s loved ones take great comfort in the knowledge that Steve’s spirit of generosity lives on through organ donation.

Steve, you are deeply missed and we all love you endlessly.

“…fly on.
Ride through.
Maybe one day,
I’ll fly next to you.”

-Coldplay, “O”

In Love and Gratitude, Your family and friends.
