In Memory of

Curtis Leverton

November 6, 1965 – April 26, 2019
Grasston, Minnesota

Curtis William Leverton was born on November 6, 1965, in Iowa Falls, Iowa. He attended high school in Mason City, Iowa. He went to college at NIAC in Mason City, Iowa, for two years for welding. Later, he decided he would be a millwright. He worked all over the United States.

Precious smile, beautiful eyes, loving, caring, & hard-working man

In 1994, Curtis accepted Jesus Christ as His Savior. Curtis met the love of his life on Christian online. He flew to Indonesia, Surabaya and married Nancy on February 4, 2012. After six years, they became the proud parents of Tazabella and 360 days later to Halogloe.

Curtis loved building projects and fixing everything. He loved doing plans and figuring out all he had to do to accomplish his projects. He also loved collecting coins and going on vacation, especially to Yellowstone and other National Parks. Besides loving on his family and construction, Curtis deeply loved food, especially Nancy’s homemade egg rolls.

Curtis was the best husband and father, and he spent all the time he could with Nancy, Tazabella, and Halogloe. He loved his family and friends and singing in church to make a joyful noise. He loved helping people and even in death helped many by donating his organs so others could live. The decision to donate Curt’s organs and corneas provided the opportunity to turn a horrific tragedy into a selfless act of giving to other families facing the loss of their loved ones. From this experience, Curt’s wife learned the importance of becoming an organ donor herself.

Curt’s memory will forever remain in our hearts! He is loved, missed, and never will be forgotten!
