In Memory of
Vicki Nan Goldstein Walzer
February 28, 1956 – October 4, 2011
Vicki Walzer exuded positivity and sunshine. Her multitude of friends from all walks of life could always count on her in times of need. As a second mom, adopted family member, and a best friend to many, Vicki was always available for those around her.
Originally from St. Louis Park, Vicki graduated from SLP High School and then from the University of Minnesota. Shortly before college graduation she met and eventually wed Marsh Walzer in 1978 enjoying 33 years of marriage.
As a mother of two sons, Vicki attended hundreds of their ballgames and sporting events.
Whether cheering on her sons or her beloved Vikings and Twins, her enthusiasm was genuine, convincing and vocal.
Over the years, Vicki worked in multiple careers simultaneously, volunteered for many organizations and was a beloved tutor for many 12 year old Bar and Bat Mitzvah students. Vicki was an avid needlepointer and ceramics master with many of her creations bringing in high bids in charitable auctions.
Above all else, Vicki was selfless. She insisted for decades on being a donor and making sure that everyone she loved knew her requests. She left an indelible impact on the lives of hundreds and her energy and charisma lives on through her family and the many lives she touched.
Vicki was always there for whoever needed her at any time. She gave so much in life. Then gave the ultimate gift of life to others as a donor.
